Sailing plan: Our voyage will start from Kirkeness (Kirkkoniemi, Girgonjárga) on Wednesday June 12th 12:45 PM. We are sailing southbound towards Bergen. In Bergen we are estimated to be on Monday June 17th 14:30 PM. The ship will stay 3 days above the Artic Circle.
Our ship will be MS Finnmarken. She was built in 2002. Passenger capacity of the ship is 1000.
Finnmarken will have one unique speciality: She is the only Hurtigruten ship with both a swimming pool and Jacuzzis on deck. I'll wait the nightless skies (the midnight Sun with 24 hours of daylight) and hopefully the warm water of Jacuzzis. So swimming suit is "one of the must to have objects" to pack.
One more unique feature in our MS Finnmarken is the accessibility of her whole bow. On the 5th deck guests have a a possibility to have some excercise by walking (or maybe even jogging) all the way to the front of the ship. This must be tested!
